Keefektifan Keterampilan Menyajikan Teks Eksplanasi Menggunakan Model Show Not Tell dan Scaffolded Writing Berbantuan Mobile Learning

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) menganalisis keefektifan pembelajaran menyajikan teks eksplanasi secara tulis dengan model show not tell berbantuan media mobile learning pada peserta didik kelas VIII SMP, (2) menganalisis keefektifan pembelajaran menyajikan teks eksplanasi secara tulis dengan model scaffolded writing berbantuan media mobile learning pada peserta didik kelas VIII SMP, (3) menganalisis perbedaan keefektifan pembelajaran menyajikan teks eksplanasi secara tulis dengan model show not tell dan model scaffolded writing berbantuan media mobile learning pada peserta didik kelas VIII SMP. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 12 Semarang. Sampel penelitian ini dipilih menggunakan teknik probability sampling jenis sampling purpose yaitu kelas VIII B sebagai kelas eksperimen 1 dan kelas VIII D sebagai kelompok eksperimen 2. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran menyajikan teks eksplanasi menggunakan model Scaffolded writing berbantuan media mobile learning bertema gunung meletus lebih efektif dibandingkan menggunakan model show not tell.This study aims: (1) to analyze the effectiveness of learning to present written explanatory texts with a show not tell model assisted by mobile learning media for grade VIII students in SMP, (2) to analyze the effectiveness of learning to present written explanatory texts with scaffolded writing models assisted by mobile learning media  For students of class VIII SMP, (3) analyzing differences in the effectiveness of learning to present explanatory text in writing with the model show not tell and scaffolded writing models assisted by mobile learning media in students of class VIII SMP.  This research uses quasi-experimental research with a nonequivalent control group design.  The study population was all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 12 Semarang.  The sample of this study was selected using probability sampling technique with the purpose of sampling type namely class VIII B as the experimental class 1 and class VIII D as the experimental group 2. The results of this study indicate that learning presents explanatory texts using Scaffolded writing models assisted by mobile learning media with the eruption-themed mount more effective  compared to using the show not tell model.
