Peningkatan Persepsi dan Motivasi Belajar Siswa SDIT Unggul Gemilang Melalui Home Based Project dalam Pembalajaran Daring

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 mengharuskan pembelajaran dilaksanakan secara daring. Hal ini tentu menjadi tantangan bagi guru dalam merancang pembelajaran supaya tetap efektif. Menurunnya persepsi dan motivasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA secara daring, menuntut guru mencari model belajar yang tepat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan persepsi dan motivasi belajar siswa melalui home based project pada materi IPA. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (Classroom Action Research). Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan kolaborasi antara peneliti, guru dan melibatkan keaktifan siswa. Subjek penelitian siswa kelas IV SDIT Unggul Gemilang yang berjumlah 20 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan angket sederhana. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner dan uji N-gain yang disebarkan menggunakan media google form. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, penerapan Home Based project dapat meningkatkan persepsi dan motivasi belajar siswa. Rata-rata Nilai N-Gain persepsi siswa sebesar 0,79 dengan kriteria tinggi. Sedangkan peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa berdasarkan N-Gain juga memiliki kriteria tinggi yaitu 8.0.The Covid-19 pandemic requires learning to be carried out online. This is certainly a challenge for teachers in designing learning so that it remains effective. The decline in students' perceptions and learning motivation in online science learning requires teachers to find the right learning model. The purpose of this research is to increase students' perception and motivation to learn through home-based projects on science material. The type of research is classroom action research (Classroom Action Research). The research was carried out in collaboration between researchers, teachers and involving students' activities. The research subjects were the fourth-grade students of SDIT Unggul Gemilang, totaling 20 students. Data collection techniques using simple observation and questionnaires. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively quantitatively. The data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire and the N-gain test which was distributed using google form media. Based on the results of the study, the application of Home-Based projects can improve students' perceptions and learning motivation. The average N-Gain value of students' perceptions is 0.79 with high criteria. While the increase in student motivation based on N-Gain also has a high criterion of 8.0.
