<![CDATA[AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan (1) mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran mata pelajaran produktif RPL; (2) mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan desain pembelajaran ICARE; dan (3) menganalisis keefektifannya terhadap peningkatan kecakapan hidup spesifik siswa dalam mata pelajaran produktif RPL. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan dengan rancangan pretest-posttes control group. Temuan penelitian (1) kemampuan guru dalam membelajarkan mata pelajaran produktif RPL belum memadai sehingga kepuasan belajar siswa rendah, (2) peningkatan kecakapan akademik siswa terjadi pada tahap connection, yaitu tahap penyampaian materi secara menyeluruh, sedangkan peningkatan kecakapan vokasional terdapat pada tahap apply, (3) pengujian hipotesis dan pengukuran signifikansi perbedaan skor tes menunjukkan bahwa desain pembelajaran ICARE efektif untuk meningkatkan kecakapan kecakapan hidup spesifik siswa dalam mata pelajaran produktif RPL.AbstractThis study aims to (1) describe the learning process of RPL productive subjects, (2) describe the design development process ICARE learning, and (3) to analyze its effectiveness against specific life skills enhancement students in productive subjects RPL. The approach used is a research and development with a pretest-posttes control group. The findings of the study (1) the ability of the teacher in teaching subjects RPL insufficient productive so low student satisfac-tion, (2) increasing the academic proficiency of students occurs in the connection section, the delivery phase of the material as a whole, while there is an increase in vocational skills to ap-ply stage, (3) hypothesis testing and measurement of test scores showed a significant difference that ICARE effective instructional design skills to improve the life skills of students in specific subjects RPL productive.]]>
