Pengaruh Ketersediaan Koleksi Cetak Terhadap Kepuasan Pemustaka di Perpustakaan Universitas Ma Chung

Abstract: The Influence of Printed Collection Availability Towards the User’s Library Satisfaction at Ma Chung University Library. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the availability of the printed collection towards users satisfactions at Ma Chung University Library. The method used in this research was explanatory research with a quantitative approach. The technique of the data collection was done by spreading the questionnaires. The sample selection was done by using accidental sampling method with 100 respondents. The data analysis used in this study was simple linear regression. The results showed that the correlation coefficient between the variables of the Influence of Printed Collection Availability with User’s Satisfaction in the amount of 0,554 and it’s mean have a conect was strong enough. The t test showed that the variables of the Influence of Printed Collection Availability had significant effect on User’s Satisfaction. The determination test results in this study showed that 30.7% Users’ Satisfaction affected by the Influence of Printed Collection Availability, while 69.3% User’s Satisfactions were influenced by other variables that were not described in this study. Ma Chung University Library should add the number of copies of the collection as well as other types of printed collections to provide more diverse types of printed collections owned by the Ma Chung University Library in order to meet the increasingly complex needs of the users. Keywords: printed collection availability, user library satisfaction Abstrak: Pengaruh Ketersediaan Koleksi Cetak Terhadap Kepuasan Pemustaka di Perpustakaan Universitas Ma Chung. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ketersediaan koleksi cetak terhadap kepuasan pemustaka di Perpustakaan Universitas Ma Chung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah explanatory research dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penyebaran angket. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan dengan metode accidental sampling dengan jumlah sebesar 100 responden. Analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini dengan menggunakan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa koefisien korelasi antara variabel ketersediaan koleksi cetak dengan kepuasan pemustaka adalah 0,554 dan berarti memiliki hubungan yang cukup kuat. Berdasarkan uji t menunjukan bahwa variabel Ketersediaan Koleksi Cetak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Pemustaka. Hasil uji determinasi pada penelitian ini menunjukan 30,7% Kepuasan Pemustaka dipengaruhi oleh Ketersediaan Koleksi Cetak sedangkan 69,3% kepuasan Pemustaka dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak dijelaskan dalam penelitian ini. Perpustakaan Universitas Ma Chung sebaiknya menambahkan jumlah eksemplar koleksi serta menambahkan jenis koleksi cetak yang lain agar semakin beragam jenis koleksi cetak yang dimiliki oleh Perputakaan Universitas Ma Chung guna untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna yang semakin kompleks.     Kata kunci: ketersediaan koleks cetak, kepuasan pemustaka
