<![CDATA[Analysis of the system implemented in this study is based on the theory stylistic. This study discusses three ways, namely (a) the election of assonance and alliteration sound, (b) diction, and (c) the use of language in a fairy tale style Malay Jambi. The research methodology used is descriptive analysis. This study revealed that a fairy tale Jambi Malay; (1) using assonance or rhyme with the vowel open syllables and closed syllables; (2) diction or choice of words in a fairy tale, namely Jambi Malay region using (a) the vocabulary of a foreign language, (b) the greeting, (c) an interjection, (d) synonyms, and (e) expression; (3) Use a style that is contained in a fairy tale Jambi Malay region is (a) a simile, (b) metonemia, (c) litotes, and (d) repetition; (4) cultural story telling in Jambi Malay community is still alive.
