Dampak Ekspansi Alibaba Group Terhadap Perkembangan E-Commerce Di Indonesia

Abstract

This study aims to find out about the threat of Alibaba Group expansion of local E-commerce in Indonesia, as well as the attitude of the Government of Indonesia to Alibaba Expansion Group, research method used is Descriptive Data collection techniques used by the authors is the form of library research and study Document that is by collecting literature relating to the subject matter to be discussed, and see the developments that occur from the discussion studied by the author. The results of this study indicate that with the existence of Alibaba Group Expansion there are several threats to E-commerce in Indonesia, among others, is the competition between foreign E-commerce companies with large capital in its operation as well as the potential strikes of Chinese production goods caused by access and marketing more easy. The Indonesian government's attitude towards Alibaba Group expansion is by issuing Perpres no.44 of 2016 and the policy of E- commerce Road Map in Indonesia which contains about protection and guidance on local E-commerce in order to compete with foreign players and strengthening Infrastructure to support Ecosystem of E-commerce in Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang ancaman ekspansi Alibaba Group terhadap E-commerce lokal di Indonesia, serta sikap pemerintah Indonesia terhadap Ekspansi Alibaba Group, Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Deskriptif Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan oleh penulis adalah berupa telaah pustaka (library research) dan studi dokumen yaitu dengan mengumpulkan literatur yang berkaitan dengan pokok permasalahan yang akan dibahas, serta melihat perkembangan yang terjadi dari pembahasan yang diteliti oleh penulis.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan adanya Ekpansi Alibaba Group terdapat beberapa ancaman bagi E-commerce di Indonesia antara lain adalah persaingan antara perusahaan E-commerce asing dengan modal yang besar dalam operasinya serta adanya potensi gempuran barang produksi China diakibatkan oleh akses masuk dan pemasaran yang lebih mudah. Sikap pemerintah Indonesia terhadap Ekspansi Alibaba Group ini adalah dengan mengeluarkan Perpres no.44 tahun 2016 serta adanya kebijakan Road Map E-commerce di Indonesia yang mana berisi tentang perlindungan dan bimbingan pada E-commerce lokal agar dapat bersaing dengan pemain asing dan penguatan Infrastruktur untuk mendukung ekosistem E-commerce di Indonesia.
