<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the effect of the level of education and competence on the performance of Belawan Agricultural Quarantine Center employees. The data used in this research is primary data. This study uses a population of 50 people with the technique of determining the census sample, namely the entire population is sampled. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression using SPSS software. The value of the coefficient of determination (R2) was obtained at 67.3%, this means that the ability of the independent variable to explain its influence on the employee performance variable while the rest is a variable outside of the study. The results of the study at the 95% confidence level and the 5% test level showed that there was a simultaneous effect of education level and competence on the performance of Belawan Agricultural Quarantine Center employees. This is also partially supported by the results that influence the level of education and competence on the performance of Belawan Agricultural Quarantine Center employees.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengaruh tingkat pendidikan dan kompetensi terhadap kinerja pegawai Balai Besar Karantina Pertanian Belawan. Data yang dipergunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer. Penelitian ini menggunakan jumlah populasi 50 orang dengan teknik penentuan sampel sensus yakni keseluruhan populasi dijadikan sampel. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda dengan menggunakan software SPSS. Nilai koefisien determinasi (R2) diperoleh sebesar 67,3%, hal ini berarti bahwa kemampuan variabel independen menjelaskan pengaruhnya terhadap variabel kinerja pegawai sedangkan sisanya merupakan variabel diluar dari penelitian. Hasil penelitian pada tingkat kepercayaan 95% dan test of level 5% menunjukkan ternyata secara simultan pengaruh tingkat pendidikan dan kompetensi terhadap kinerja pegawai Balai Besar Karantina Pertanian Belawan. Hal ini juga didukung hasil secara parsial bahwa pengaruh tingkat pendidikan dan kompetensi terhadap kinerja pegawai Balai Besar Karantina Pertanian Belawan.]]>
