Abstract

AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran IPA terpadu berbasis contextual teaching and learning (CTL) dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif  tipe STAD tema polusi udara yang valid, efektif, praktis dalam upaya meningkatkan hasil belajar (kognitif) siswa dan mengembangkan sikap kepedulian terhadap lingkungan di SMP Nusantara 1 Gubug siswa kelas VII tahun ajaran 2011/2012. Metode penelitian adalah Research and Development (R&D), desain penelitian yang digunakan untuk pengujian efektivitas produk menggunakan metode Quasi eksperimen design dengan pretes-posttes control group design. Berdasar hasil uji perangkat pembelajaran menunjukkan bahwa N gain (peningkatan hasil belajar (kognitif) siswa) 0,64% dalam kategori sedang, dengan uji t didapat thitung 3,666  ˃ ttabel 1,67. Aktivitas siswa mencapai 86,7% dalam kategori aktif  dan sangat aktif, rata-rata skor sikap siswa terhadap lingkungan hidup mencapai 74,6 dengan kategori sangat tinggi. Rata-rata skor respon siswa memberi tanggapan positif  terhadap pembelajaran mencapai 87,1% dan guru memberi kesan positif. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah dapat dikembangkan perangkat pembelajaran yang valid, efektif, dan praktis dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar (kognitif) siswa dan mengembangkan sikap kepedulian terhadap lingkungan.AbstractThe purpose of  this research is to develop an integrated software-based contextual learning science teach-ing and learning (CTL) with type STAD cooperative learning model air pollution theme valid, effecti-ve, practical in an effort to improve learning outcomes (cognitive) students and develop an attitude of  environmental stewardship in the Junior archipelago 1 Gubug students of  class VII of  the school year 2011/2012. The research method is the Research and Development (R & D), design of  the study used to test the effectiveness of  the product using the Quasi experimental design with pretest posttest control group design. Based on the test results of  the study showed that the N gain (increase in learning outcomes (cog-nitive) students) 0.64% in the medium category, with mastery in the classical reached 86.7%, with t test obtained t count 3.666 ˃ ttable 1.67. Student activity reached 86.7% in the category of  active and very active, the average score of  students’ attitudes toward the environment reaches 74.6 with very high category.  The average score of  responses students give a positive response to learning reaches 87.1% and teacher gives a positive impression. The conclusions of  this research is to develop valid, effective, and practical way to improve learning outcomes (cognitive) and develop students’ caring attitude towards the environment.
