PENGEMBANGAN LKS FISIKA TERINTEGRASI KARAKTER BERBASIS PENDEKATAN CTL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR

Proses pembelajaran IPA di SMP N 1 Semarang masih berpusat pada guru. Hal ini menyebabkan hasil belajar siswa belum memenuhi KKM, karena siswa kurang dilibatkan secara aktif untuk menemukan konsep sendiri. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut dilakukan penelitian melalui pengembangan panduan belajar berupa LKS fisika terintegrasi karakter berbasis pendekatan CTL dan bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kelayakan LKS serta mengetahui apakah LKS dapat mengembangkan karakter dan meningkatkan hasil belajar. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian pengembangan dan ujicoba pemakaian menggunakan pola control group pre-test post-test design. Perkembangan karakter diukur menggunakan lembar angket dan observasi. Hasil belajar psikomotorik diukur menggunakan lembar observasi dan hasil belajar kognitif diukur menggunakan pre-test dan post-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukan hasil belajar kognitif dan psikomotorik siswa kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada siswa kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan diperoleh simpulan bahwa LKS fisika terintegrasi karakter berbasis pendekatan CTL layak digunakan sebagai panduan belajar dan dapat mengembangkan karakter serta meningkatkan hasil belajar. Science learning process in SMPN 1 Semarang was still teacher center. It caused the student learning outcomes could not reach the passing grade at least, because the student were less involved actively to find the concept by their selves. To overcome it the research was done by developing the study guide in the form of students’ worksheets integrated with character based on CTL approach and aimed to determine feasibility level of students’ worksheets and to determine whether students’ worksheets can develop character and improve learning outcomes. This research included to development research and trial usage was done by using control group pre-test post-test design. The development of character was measured using questionnaires and observation sheets. Psychomotor learning outcomes were measured using observation and cognitive learning outcomes were measured using a pre-test and post-test. The research result showed that the cognitive and psycomotoric learning outcomes in experiment class were higher than the students in control class. Based on the research that has been done, it could be concluded that physics students’ worksheets intregated with character based on CTL approach was suitable to be used as the study guide which could develope the characters and improved learning outcomes.
