PENDEKATAN PROBLEM SOLVING LABORATORY UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KREATIFITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS XI MA AL ASROR GUNUNGPATI SEMARANG

Abstract

Pembelajaran  melalui  kegiatan  laboratorium  cenderung memiliki  tingkat  pemahaman  yang  rendah karena didominasi  oleh  instruksi, kurang  memberi  kesempatan  siswa  untuk mengembangkan komitmen, ide mandiri dan eksplorasi aktif. Alternatif solusinya adalah penerapan model pembelajaran problem solving laboratory. Model PSL yaitu menata ulang proses pelaksanaan kegiatan laboratorium dan berbagai perangkat pendukung kegiatannya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui  peningkatan kreatifitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI IPA di MA Al Asror Gunungpati Semarang.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di MA Al-Asror Gunungpati Semarang dengan desain two group pretest postest..Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan kreatifitas  siswa kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol. Kreatifitas siswa kelas eksperimen meningkat dari 53,58 menjadi 80,32 sedangkan kelas kontrol meningkat dari 52,54 menjadi 71,41. Peningkatan nilai hasil belajar (pretest -posttest) sebesar 0,70 untuk kelas eksperimen masuk kriteria tinggi dan 0,36 untuk kelas kontrol masuk kriteria sedang.Kesimpulannya, pendekatan Problem Solving Laboratory dapat meningkatkan kreatifitas dan hasil belajar siswa di MA Al-Asror Gunungpati Semarang.Learning through laboratory activities tend to have a low level of understanding because it is dominated by instruction, not giving students the opportunity to develope the commitment, the idea of independent and active exploration. The alternative solution is the application of problem solving Laboratory. PSL Model rearranging the implementation process and the various devices supporting laboratory activities. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in creativity and student learning outcomes in class XI Science MA Al Asror Gunungpati Semarang. This study implemented in MA Al-Asror Gunungpati Semarang with two group pretest postest.The result of studies showed increased student creativity experimental class higher of the control class. Creativity experimental class students increased from 53.58 into 80.32 while the control group increased from 52.54 into 71.41. Increasing the value of learning outcomes (pretest -posttest) of 0.70 to qualify as a high-class experiments and 0.36 for the control class as a middle class. In conclusion, Problem Solving Laboratory approach can increase creativity and learning outcomes of students in the MA Al-Asror Gunungpati Semarang
