Abstract

Komik merupakan media visual yang disukai berbagai kalangan. Komik dikemas dengan menggunakan dialog bahasa Inggris yang sederhana. Penggunaan bahasa Inggris di sekolah sangat penting dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa asing siswa guna bersaing di dunia internasional. Minat belajar siswa sangat penting dalam pembelajaran di sekolah. Penelitianinimenggunakanmetoderesearch and development. Bentukdesaineksperimennyaadalahpre-experimentaldesigndenganjenispretest and posttestone groupdesign. Penelitian ini mencakup tiga tahap, yaitu define atau penetapan, design atau perencanaan, dan  development atau pengembangan. Comic is visual media which loved by all people. Comic is packed with simple English dialouge. English at school is very important for improve student’s ability foreign language in the world. Interest in learning is very important in school. The experimental design is pre-experimental design with pretest and posttest one group design. This research including three steps, there are define, design and development.
