PENGEMBANGAN ALAT EVALUASI PROPOSITION GENERATING TASK UNTUK MENGUKUR STRUKTUR KOGNITIF SISWA DI SMA

AbstrakEvaluasi merupakan hal yang penting dalam pembelajaran. Selama ini beberapa peneliti pendidikan telah menerapkan peta konsep, wawancara klinis dan semanticnetwork untuk mengukur struktur kognitif, namun masing-masing alat evaluasi tersebut memiliki kekurangan. Alat evaluasi Proposition Generating Task (PGT)dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif  lain untuk mengukur struktur kognitif  siswa.Hasil yang diperoleh adalah seperangkat alat evaluasi yang terdiri dari beberapa komponen: a) penjelasan alat evaluasi PGT, b) pedoman pembuatan proposisi, c)kisi-kisi soal, d) soal, e) proposisi master, f) pedoman penilaian dan penskoran, g)pedoman interpretasi. Alat evaluasi PGT mempunyai nilai validitas 0,74 dan koefisien reliabilitas 0,99. Alat evaluasi PGT valid dan reliabel untuk mengukur pemahaman konsep siswa. Struktur kognitif  siswa yang terukur dengan PGT dan peta konsep menunjukkan hasil yang sama yaitu berada pada level II (cukup baik), III(baik) dan IV (sangat baik).AbstractAssessment is important thing in learning. All this time some education researchers have applied concept map, clinical and semantic network to measure cognitive structure, however each evaluation instrument has deficiency. The evaluation instrument of  Proposition GeneratingTask (PGT) can be used as other alternative to measure the student’s cognitive structure. Thedevelopment of  evaluation instrument PGT on force and motion studying material with theaim to get the evaluation instrument PGT that’s valid, reliable, and can describethe student’scognitive structure on force and motion studying material for Senior High School students.The result that’s got is a set of  evaluation instrument that contains some components: a) theexplanation of  evaluation instrument PGT, b)  the direction of  making proposition, c) itemgrille, d) item, e) master proposition, f) measurement and suspension/ scoring direction, g)interpretation direction. The evaluation instrument PGT has validity value 0,74 and reliabilitycoef ficient 0,99. The evaluation instrument PGT is valid and reliable to measure theconcept student’s understanding. The student’s cognitive structure that’s measured with PGTand concept map shows the same result namely on the level II (good enough), III (good), andIV (very good).
