IMPLEMENTASI KEMAMPUAN MULTIREPRESENTASI DAN KOMUNIKASI LISAN MAHASISWA UNNES TAHUN AKADEMIK 2013/2014 PADA MATA KULIAH FISIKA DASAR II

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan multirepresentasi mahasiswa, hubungan kemampuan multirepresentasi dan kemampuan komunikasi lisan, serta penerapan hubungan kedua kemampuan tersebut melalui model pembelajaran  Presentatif   Berbasis  Multirepresentasi  (PBM)  pada  pemecahan masalah optika geometri (Fisika Dasar II). Metode penelitian berupa concurrent mixed methods dengan bobot kualitatif-kuantitatif. Alat pengumpul data berupa tes awal dan akhir berbentuk essay, lembar observasi kemampuan komunikasi lisan, dan lembar observasi penilaian pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran PBM— seluruhnya memiliki tingkat validitas berkategori tinggi, berturut-turut 3,91; 4,22; 4,13; 3,88. Uji reliabilitas dengan teknik Alfa Cronbach, koefisien reliabilitasnya 0,494. Mahasiswa pendidikan fisika Unnes tahun akademik 2013/2014 sebagai subyek  penelitian.  Urutan  kecenderungan  multirepresentasi  mahasiswa  dari tinggi ke rendah secara berurutan, representasi M, D, G, V; sedangkan urutan ketepatannya, kelompok representasi V, D, G, M. Hubungan kemampuan multirepresentasi dan kemampuan komunikasi lisan, sebanding/berbanding lurus. Penerapan hubungannya menghasilkan grounded theory. Penelitian ini sebaiknya diterapkan pada materi fisika, atau universitas lain sebagai bahan perbandingan.AbstractThis study aimed to determine the ability of  the students multirepresentation, relationships multirepresentation capabilities and oral communication skills, as well as the application of the relations between the two capabilities through learning model Presentatif based Multirepresentation  (PBM)  in  solving  optical  geometric  (Elementary  Physics  II).  A concurrent mixed methods research methods with qualitative - quantitative weights. Means of collecting data in the form of the pre-test and post-test with essay form, observation sheets oral communication skills, and assessment of learning by observation sheet PBM - learning models all have a high degree of respectively validity category is 3.91; 4.22; 4.13; 3.88. Sequence multirepresentation tendency of  students from high to low in sequence, representation of  M, D, G, V; whereas the order of accuracy, the group representation V, D, G, M. Relationship multirepresentation ability and oral communication skills, comparable/proportional. Implementation conjunction generate grounded theory. This study should be applied to the physics of matter, or any other university for comparison
