Kata Kunci: LDL, Ulkus DiabetikDiabetic ulcers are chronic complications of diabetes mellitus. High LDL levels can cause diabetic ulcers. The study is expected to determine the influence of the level LDL in the incidence of diabetic ulcers and to determine the effect of differences in levels of LDL in the incidence of diabetic ulcer. This study is a type of observational analytic study by the research design "Cross sectional". The research was conducted by collecting data of patients with diabetes mellitus period 1 January 2011- 31 December 2011 in the Semarang Hospital Roemani. The samples used was 108 people. The research data were analyzed with non parametric statistic test by the method of descriptive analysis and Mann-Whitney test, followed by the Spearman correlation test. From the results of Mann-Whitney test showed that there are significant differences between the influence of the levels of LDL on the incidence of diabetic ulcers. As well as from the results of Spearrman correlation test showed that there is a positive correlation is very strong and significant between the influence of the levels of LDL and the incidence of diabetic ulcers, where the higher levels of LDL the incidence of diabetic ulcer is increasing.Key words: LDL, Diabetic Ulcer
