MINIMASI WASTE MELALUI PERANCANGAN POKA-YOKE PADA AREA STANDBY SMALL PART DI PT.XYZ

Abstract

AbstractPT. XYZ is a company that produces Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV) type vehicles. During the production process for small parts to be installed, there is always a corrosion defect due to ineffective small part standby, therefore waste occurs. The purpose of this research is to reduce the waste of small part material by designing a Poké-yoke tool. The data collection technique was done by calculating the reject small part and interview. Furthermore, the analysis was carried out using a fishbone diagram and the 5W + 1H method. The data and analysis obtained were then designed three kinds of poka-yoke tools, namely the first modification tool, second the locker tool and the third small part standby box. The three tools compared to which one is more effective and can be implemented in the long term. The results of this research show that the design of the Poké-yoke tool with a small part standby box is more effective so that small part waste can be minimized. Keywords : waste, poka-yoke, material AbstrakPT. XYZ adalah perusahaan yang memproduksi kendaraan jenis Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV). Pada saat proses produksi small part yang akan dipasang selalu terjadi defect korosi diakibatkan karena tempat standby small part tidak efektif maka dari itu terjadinya pemborosan/waste. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengurangi pemborosan/waste material small part melalui perancangan alat poka-yoke.  Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara perhitungan small part reject dan wawancara. Selanjutnya dilakukan analisa menggunakan fishbone diagram dan metode 5W+1H. Data dan analisa yang didapatkan kemudian dirancang tiga macam alat poka-yoke yaitu pertama alat modifikasi, kedua alat locker dan ketiga kotak standby small part. Ketiga alat tersebut dibandingkan mana yang lebih efektif dan dapat diimplementasikan jangka panjang. Hasil penelitan ini bahwa perancangan alat poka-yoke dengan kotak standby small part lebih efektif sehingga pemborosan small part dapat diminimalisir. Kata kunci : waste, poka-yoke, material
