Gambaran Self Efficacy Mahasiswa Jurusan Keperawatan dalam Pencegahan Penularan Covid-19

The pandemic is happening almost all over the world caused by the Covid-19 virus, which can spread easily through droplets, touching hands and not maintaining distance when interacting. Students have an important role in participating in conveying information through activities facilitated by the campus. Before providing information to the public, it is necessary to have confidence in nursing students that they are able to carry out the correct health protocols in an effort to prevent the transmission of the Covid-19 virus. Positive belief that students are able to properly prevent the transmission of the virus must start when students are studying on campus. This study aims to describe the self-efficacy of nursing students majoring in the prevention of Covid-19 transmission. This type of research was descriptive involving 95 students, selected by proportional random sampling technique. Data were collected through filling out questionnaires, then analyzed descriptively. The results showed that almost all nursing students had very high self-efficacy.Keywords: Covid-19; student of nursing; self efficacy  ABSTRAK Pandemi terjadi hampir di seluruh dunia yang disebabkan oleh virus Covid-19, yang dapat menyebar dengan mudah melalui droplet, bersentuhan tangan dan tidak mengatur jarak saat berinteraksi. Mahasiswa mempunyai peran penting dalam ikut menyampaikan informasi melalui kegiatan yang difasilitasi oleh kampus. Sebelum memberikan informasi kepada masyarakat perlu adanya keyakinan pada mahasiswa keperawatan bahwa mereka mampu melakukan protokol kesehatan yang benar dalam upaya pencegahan penularan virus Covid-19. Keyakinan yang positif bahwa mahasiswa mampu melakukan pencegahan penularan virus dengan benar harus dimulai sejak mahasiswa menempuh pendidikan di kampus. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui gambaran self efficacy mahasiswa jurusan keperawatan dalam pencegahan penularan Covid-19. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif yang melibatkan 95 mahasiswa, yang dipilih dengan teknik proportional random sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui pengisian kueioner, lalu dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkn bahwa hampir seluruh mahasiswa jurusan keperawatan memiliki self efficacy yang sangat tinggi.Kata kunci: Covid-19; mahasiswa keperawatan; self efficacy
