<![CDATA[Abstract: This paper aims to analyze the securitization of the issue of Foreign Terrorist Fighters (FTF) during the Joko Widodo’ government in the period 2014-2020. This research uses qualitative research methods with secondary data. There was a change in policy on the issue of handling ISIS FTF from Indonesia, in the period 2014-2019 The Indonesian government provided repatriation facilities but in 2020 the repatriation policy was no longer continued after ISIS suffered defeat. On this basis, the author raises the question “Why is the policy for handling the FTF ISIS from Indonesia in 2020 different from the policy in 2014-2019? From the results of the study, it was found that securitization was successfully carried out by securitization actors by going through an existential threat framing process, taking emergency actions and breaking the rules.Keyword: Securitization, Foreign Terrorist Fighters, ISIS AbstrakTulisan ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sekuritisasi isu Foreign Terrorist Fighters (FTF) pada masa pemerintahan Joko Widodo periode 2014-2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualititaf dengan data sekunder. Terjadi perubahan kebijakan pada isu penanganan FTF ISIS asal Indonesia, dimana pada periode 2014-2019 Pemerintah Indonesia memberikan fasilitas repatriasi namun tahun 2020 kebijakan pemulangan tersebut tidak lagi dilanjutkan setelah ISIS mengalami kekalahan. Atas dasar hal tersebut penulis mengangkat pertanyaan “Mengapa kebijakan penanganan FTF ISIS asal Indonesia tahun 2020 berbeda dengan kebijakan pada tahun 2014-2019? Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh temuan bahwa sekuritisasi berhasil dilakukan oleh aktor sekuritisasi dengan melalui proses pembingkaian ancaman yang ekstensial, melakukan tindakan darurat dan melanggar aturan yang berlaku.Kata Kunci: Sekuritisasi, Foreign Terorris Fighter, ISIS]]>
