PEMAHAMAN MORAL DARI CERITA PENDEK MELALUI STRATEGI INDUKTIF UNTUK MAHASISWA MAN

Abstract

This research describes the increase of understanding in moral aspect of female character in short story through Taba model inductive learning strategy and used qualitative descriptive through three cycles of classroom action research. The objects were the students of class XI Language of MAN 1 Model Bandar Lampung Academic Year 2013/2014. The score of understanding in cycle I gained mean 71,64 in enough category, cycle II gained mean 78,50 with good category, and in cycle III gained mean 85,50 with very good category. The result of students’ learning accomplishment had a good increase in cycle I 35%, cycle II 92,5%, and cycle III 100%. From the result of this research it can be concluded that the increase of moral aspect understanding of female character in a short story through Taba model inductive learning strategy can increase students’ literary appreciation ability.Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan peningkatan pemahaman aspek moral tokoh utama wanita dalam cerpen melalui strategi pembelajaran induktif model Taba dan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif melalui penelitian tindakan kelas sebanyak tiga siklus. Objek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI Bahasa MAN 1 Model Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Nilai pemahaman siswa pada siklus I rata-rata 71,64 dengan kategori cukup, siklus II diperoleh rata-rata 78,50 dengan kategori baik, dan pada siklus III diperoleh rata-rata 85,50 dengan kategori sangat baik. Hasil ketuntasan belajar siswa pada siklus I 35%, siklus II 92,5%, dan siklus III 100%. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa peningkatan pemahaman aspek moral tokoh utama wanita dalam cerpen melalui strategi pembelajaran induktif model Taba dapat meningkatkan kemampuan apresiasi sastra siswa.Kata kunci: aspek moral, cerpen, strategi induktif.
