This study aims to determine and analyze how big the influence of inflation and unemployment on economic growth in West Sumatra. The data for this research is secondary data that is time series starting from 2016-2021 (quarterly data). This type of research is quantitative research. The data source used is from the Economic Report of the Province of West Sumatra (BPS West Sumatra in Figures 2016 – 2021). The data analysis used in this research is quantitative descriptive statistical analysis using multiple linear regression analysis, classical assumption test, determinant coefficient test and hypothesis testing. The results showed that inflation had a significant positive effect on economic growth with a significant value of 0.015 < 0.05, and unemployment had a significant negative effect on economic growth with a significant value of 0.008 < 0.05. Based on the results of the simultaneous test, it shows that inflation and unemployment have a significant effect on economic growth with a significant value of 0.000 <0.05. The results of the coefficient of determination test obtained an R Square value of 0.473 or 47.3 percent.
