<![CDATA[Management is the process of coordinating the resources owned by a company to achive goals. According to Henry Fayol, management functions well if it implements five management functions, namely planning, organizing, directing, controlling and evaluating. However, based on the facts in the field obtained from observations, there are several problems in theimplementation of production management, namely the direction and control functions have not been running well. The research was conducted at home industry Galih Kurnia Usaha, which is located at Rt. 007/Rw. 002, Pageran Hamlet, Bubakan Village, Tulakan District, Pacitan Regency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, namely examining the reality that occurs in the research field. The series of research activities produces descriptive data in the form of written words. Based on the results of the studym the application of home industry production management for chips Galih Kurnia Usaha has implemented five management functions in accordance with Henry Fayol’s theory. However, the implementation of production management has not run optimally because the direction and control has not been carried out properly. The impact of the implementation of production management in the development of this home industry did not have imployees who work in the home industry because previously the home industry did not have employees, the achievement of the production targets, production results that meet market needs, as well as increasing networks that work together with home industries wich make profits increase. Abstrak: Manajemen merupakan proses pengkoordinasian sumber daya yang dimiliki oleh sebuah prusahaan untuk mencapai tujuan. Menurut Henry Fayol, manajemen berfungsi dengan baik jika menerapkan lima fungsi manajemen, yaitu perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pengarahan, pengendalian dan evaluasi. Namun berdasarkan fakta dilapangan yang diperoleh dari observasi, terdapat beberapa masalah dalam pelaksanaan manajemen produksi yaitu fungsi pengarahan dan fungsi pengendalian belum berjalan dengan baik. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Home Industry Galih Kurnia Usaha, yang beralamat Rt. 007/ Rw. 002, Dusun Pageran, Desa Bubakan, Kecamatan Tulakan, Kabupaten Pacitan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan bersifat deskriptif kualitatif yaitu meneliti realita yang terjadi di lapangan penelitian, Rangkaian kegiatan penelitian menghasilkan data deskriptif berupa kata-kata tertulis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, penerapan manajemen produksi home industry Keripik Galih kurnia Usaha sudah menerapkan lima fungsi manajemen sesuai dengan teori Henry Fayol. Namun, penerapan manajemen produksi belum berjalan dengan optimal karena pada bagian pengarahan dan pengendalian belum dijalankan dengan baik. Dampak penerapan manajemen produksi terhadap perkembangan home industry ini adalah adanya karyawan yang bekerja di home industry karena sebelumnya home industry belum memiliki karyawan, tercapainya target produksi, hasil produksi yang memenuhi kebutuhan pasar, serta bertambahnya jaringan yang bekerja sama dengan home industry yang membuat keuntungan semakin bertambah.]]>
