<![CDATA[Tujuan penelitian menganalisis implikasi Putusan Mahkamah Agung Nomor 55P/HUM/2018 terhadap penerapan Peraturan Komisi Pemilihan Umum Nomor 20 tahun 2018 tentang hak politik mantan narapidana dan menganalisis Putusan Mahkamah Agung Nomor 55P/HUM/2018 jika ditinjau dari prespektif asas umum pemerintahan yang baik. Metode penelitian menggunakan penelitian hukum normatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa; Mahkamah Agung telah mengeluarkan putasan yaitu pembatalan terhadap Aturan KPU yang melarang mantan narapidana mencalonkan diri sebagai anggota legislatif. Putusan Mahkamah Agung mempengaruhi tercipatanya asas pemerintahan yang baik yaitu tercipta kepastian hukum dimana tidakadaaturan yang lebih rendah bertentangan dengan aturan diatasnya (hierarki perundang-undangan). The research objective is to analyze the implications of the Supreme Court Decision Number 55P / HUM / 2018 on the application of the General Election Commission Regulation Number 20 of 2018 concerning the political rights of ex-convicts and to analyze the Supreme Court Decision Number 55P / HUM / 2018 when viewed from the perspective of the general principles of good governance. The research method uses normative legal research. The results of this study indicate that; The Supreme Court has issued a verdict, namely the annulment of the KPU Regulation which prohibits ex-convicts from running as members of the legislature.
