<![CDATA[Tujuan penelitian menganalisis efektivitas penyidikan terhadap tindak pidana penyebaran berita bohong melalui media online dan faktor-faktor/kendala yang dihadapi dalam menangani oleh aparatur hukum khususnya unit tipid cyber polda sulsel dalam penanggulangi dan meminimalisir kejahatan cyber di wilaya hukum polda sulsel. Penelitian merupakan peneltian lapangan, yang mana mengumpulkan data yang dilakukan dengan metode wawacara langsung terhadapa beberapa pihak yang terkait dengan topik penelitian yaitu penyidik yang perna menangani tindak pidana penyebaran berita bohong melalui median online di wilaya hukum daerah sulsel. Hasil dari penetian ini adalah bahwa penyedikan atas tindak pidana penyebaran berita bohong melalui media online masih belum efektif dan faktor-faktor kendala yang pempengaruhi efektivitas penyidikan atas tindak pidana berita bohong adalah (1) faktor hukum, (2) faktor penegakan hukum, (3) faktor sarana dan prasarana, (4) faktor masyarakat, dan (5) faktor kebudayaan. The research objective is to analyze the effectiveness of the investigation of the criminal act of spreading fake news through online media and the factors / constraints faced in dealing with the legal apparatus, especially the South Sulawesi Police cyber tipid unit in overcoming and minimizing cyber crime in the South Sulawesi Regional Police. This research is a field research, which collects data which is carried out by means of direct interviews with several parties related to the research topic, namely investigators who have handled the crime of spreading fake news through online medians in the South Sulawesi legal area. The results of this determination are that the provision of criminal acts of spreading fake news through online media is still ineffective and the constraints that affect the effectiveness of investigations on fake news crimes are (1) legal factors, (2) law enforcement factors, (3) facilities and infrastructure factors, (4) community factors, and (5) cultural factors.]]>
