Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research is to plan an alternative rainwater harvesting system for clean water needs, to analyze the efficiency and savings from the application of the rainwater harvesting system at UNU NTB. The analysis used is the analysis of rainwater quality, rainfall data, rain intensity, and catchment area. The results of the observations, 8 building blocks on the campus of UNU NTB resulted in the amount of rainwater catchment of 6,265.41 m3, and the amount of water used as a result of the interviews was 4,051.55 m3. With the rainwater storage system under the surface, we can see the campus plans in increasing the building and the number of students going forward. The water used for campus activities is covered if there is rainwater storage. Projected by 2030, the increase in students to 127% is directly proportional to the increasing demand for water. Rainwater storage is a solution in efficient use of water and savings in water costs incurred.
