Fokus perekat dalam campuran briket arang tempurung kelapa pada penelitian ini adalah 4% yang menggunakan metode eksperimen. Studi tentang parameter yang mempengaruhi proses preparasi dan pembuatan yang ditinjau dari penelitian sebelumnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menghasilkan briket dengan kualitas yang baik, maka dari itu perlu diperhatikan berbagai parameter dalam proses preparasi dan pembuatan seperti keseragaman ukuran partikel pada tahapan pengayakan, konsentrasi arang tempurung kelapa dan perekat saat pencampuran sampel, tekanan pada pembentukan briket, dan proses pengeringan untuk mengurangi kadar air pada briket.
