<![CDATA[Abstract Old age will be very wide experiencing the name of health disorders, one of which is depression that is commonly caused by stress in the face of a change in life such as diseases and physical disorders, the purpose of this study is to know the relationship of family social support with the incidence of depression in the elderly in Liu Village, Sabbangparu District, Wajo District in 2021. This type of research is using survey.. The sampling technique of this study is Accidental. The results of the study showed that there is a relationshipof family social support with the incidence of depression in the elderly ( p =0.014 means α < 0.05). Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that there is a relationship of family social support with the incidence of depression in the elderly. Abstrak Usia lanjut akan sangat rentang mengalami yang namanya gangguan kesehatan, salah satunya adalah depresi yang biasa di sebabkan oleh stres dalam menghadapi suatu perubahan kehidupan seperti penyakit dan gangguan fisik, Tujuan penilitian mengetahui Hubungan dukungan sosial keluarga dengan kejadian depresi pada lansia di Desa Liu Kecamatan Sabbangparu Kabupaten Wajo Tahun 2021.Jenis penelitian dengan menggunakan metode survey. Teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian ini adalah Accidental sampling. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan dukungan sosial keluarga dengan kejadian depresi pada lansia (p = 0,01. berarti α < 0,05). dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan dukungan sosial keluarga dengan kejadian depresi pada lansia.]]>
