HUBUNGAN POLA MAKAN FAST FOOD DENGAN PENINGKATAN PENDERITA KOLESTEROL PADA ORANG DEWASA UMUR 35 – 40 DI UPTD PUSKESMAS TANASITOLO

Abstract

People's lifestyle to consume fast food has become a habit. The habit of consuming fast food is due to its practical and easy-to-reach processing. Without realizing the state of cholesterol in the body has increased. This is because fast food contains high levels of salt, sugar, fat or calories, but low in nutrients, low in vitamins, minerals, and fiber. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between fast food eating patterns and an increase in cholesterol sufferers in adults aged 35-40 at the UPTD Tanasitolo Health Center. This type of research is quantitative research using a Cross Sectional approach. The population in this study were all adults aged 35-40 at the UPTD Tanasitolo Health Center, totaling 26 students. The sampling technique used a total sampling of 26 students. Data were collected through a questionnaire. The analysis test used a computer program, namely SPSS 22 to assess statistical frequency data and the Chi-Square Test on the Fisher Exact Test on bivariate variables, the value of Exact sing was obtained. (2-sided) on the variable, fast food pattern, namely the value (p) = 0.000 means < 0.05 so it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship to the increase in cholesterol sufferers in this variable. Abstrak Pola hidup masyarakat untuk mengkonsumsi makanan cepat saji sudah menjadi kebiasaan. Kebiasaan mengkonsumsi makanan cepat saji disebabkan pengolahannya yang praktis dan mudah dijangkau. Tanpa disadari keadaan kolesterol dalam tubuh mengalami peningkatan. Hal ini dikarenakan kandungan makanan cepat saji yang memiliki kadar garam, gula, lemak, atau kalori yang tinggi, tetapi rendah nutrisi, rendah vitamin, mineral, juga serat. Tujuan peneilitian ini mengetahui hubungan pola makan fast food dengan peningkatan penderita kolesterol pada orang dewasa umur 35 – 40 di UPTD Puskesmas Tanasitolo. Jenis penelitian yaitu peneltian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini semua orang dewasa berumur 35 - 40 di UPTD Puskesmas Tanasitolo yang berjumlah 26 Siswa. Teknik Pengambilan Sampel menggunakan total sampling berjumlah 26 siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner. Uji analisis menggunakan program komputer yaitu SPSS 22 untuk menilai data statistik frekuensi dan Uji Chi – Square pada Fisher Exact Test pada variabel bivariat diperoleh nilai Exact sing.(2-sided) pada variabel, pola fast food yaitu diperoleh nilai (p) = 0,000 berarti α < 0,05 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan yang bermakna terhadap peningkatan penderita kolesterol pada variabel tersebut.
