Pengaruh Rebusan Air Cengkeh terhadap Penurunan Nyeri Asam Urat Pada Lansia di Puskesmas Pattiro Mampu Kecamatan Dua Boccoe Kabupaten Bone

Everyone has uric acid in the body, because every normal metabolism produces uric acid. So that clove decoction can be used as a companion to modern medicine. Cloves have components or various chemical content that can reduce gout pain.The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of clove water decoction on reducing gout pain in the elderly at the Pattiro Able Public Health Center, Dua Boccoe District, Bone Regency in 2021. This type of research is a quantitative study using true experimental research with pre and post test control design. Data were collected through a questionnaire given to each respondent. The analysis test used the SPSS 22 computer program to assess the frequency statistical data and the Wilcoxon test on bivariate variables obtained the Asymp value. Sig. (2-tailed) on the clove water decoction variable, the value of = 0.000> = 0.05, so it can be concluded that there is an effect of clove water decoction on reducing gout pain in the elderly at the Pattiro Able Public Health Center, Dua Boccoe District, Bone Regency.The researcher's advice is for the elderly at the Pattiro Health Center to be able to diligently check their uric acid levels at the Pattiro Health Center and be able to avoid consuming foods that can increase uric acid levels so that pain does not occur due to increased uric acid. Abstrak Setiap orang memiliki asam urat di dalam tubuh, karena pada setiap metabolisme normal dihasilkan asam urat. Sehingga rebusan cengkeh dapat dijadikan sebagai pendamping pengobatan modern. Cengkeh mempunyai komponen atau berbagai kandungan bahan kimia yang dapat menurunkan nyeri asam urat. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh rebusan air cengkeh terhadap penurunan nyeri asam urat pada lansia di puskesmas pattiro mampu kecamatan dua boccoe kabupaten bone tahun 2021. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan penelitian true eksperiment dengan desain penelitian pre dan post test control design. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang diberikan kepada masing-masing responden. Uji analisis menggunakan program komputer SPSS 22 untuk menilai data statisitik frekuensi dan uji Wilcoxon pada variabel bivariat diperoleh nilai Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) pada variabel rebusan air cengkeh diperoleh nilai ρ=0,000> ∝ =0.05, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh rebusan air cengkeh terhadap penurunan nyeri asam urat pada lansia di puskesmas pattiro mampu kecamatan dua boccoe kabupaten bone.Adapun saran peneliti yaitu bagi lansia di puskesmas pattiro mampu agar rajin memeriksakan kadar asam uratnya di puskesmas pattiro mampu dan menghindari mengkomsumsi makanan yang bisa meningkatkan kadar asam urat sehingga tidak terjadi nyeri yang diakibatkan peningkatan asam urat.
