<![CDATA[The preliminary test research in the active compounds of plants are needed. The preliminary test often known as phytochemical screening is the qualitative test for the review of secondary metabolites content determine in group samples. Nowadays, Indonesian society starts to publish the heritage about traditional medicine, using plant or animal species, thus came the term "Back to Nature" but still many plants are known yet about the content of secondary metabolites based on qualitative and quantitative. It should be carried out research related to content and activities of certain medicinal plants. The training screening candidates phytochemical medicinal plants for high school teachers gave the positive impact to review and conduct the simple research especially medicinal plants (ethnobotany and chemistry natural materials). A total of twenty participants were attended the training activities. The training activities was run well.]]>
