<![CDATA[This study aims to improve students' understanding by using science teaching aids on the subject matter of force and motion for Class IX 2 MTsN Baubau City in the 2021/2022 academic year. This research uses classroom action research (CAR). The population of class IX 2 MTsN Baubau City students for the 2021/2022 academic year amounted to 34 people, while the sample studied was 17 people who were chosen randomly (random sampling) by drawing lots. The results showed that the use of science teaching aids was able to increase the understanding of class IX 2 MTsN Baubau City students in the 2021/2022 academic year on the material of force and motion in science learning. The quantitative results of the average student understanding of 70% answered correctly in the first cycle and increased by 83% in the second cycle. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa dengan menggunakan alat peraga IPA pada materi pokok bahasan gaya dan gerak untuk Kelas IX 2 MTsN Kota Baubau tahun pelajaran 2021/2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Populasi siswa kelas IX 2 MTsN Kota Baubau tahun pelajaran 2021/2022 berjumlah 34 orang, sedangkan sampel yang diteliti sebanyak 17 orang yang dipilih acak (random sampling) dengan cara diundi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan alat peraga IPA mampu meningkatkan pemahaman siswa kelas IX 2 MTsN Kota Baubau tahun pelajaran 2021/2022 terhadap materi gaya dan gerak dalam pembelajaran IPA. Hasil kuantitatif ratarata pemahaman siswa sebesar 70% menjawab benar pada siklus I dan meningkat sebesar 83% pada siklus II.]]>
