This study aims to determine the causes of the severance of diplomatic relations between Malaysia and North Korea due to the death of Kim Jong Nam and the extradition of a North Korean citizen and the impact of severing diplomatic relations between Malaysia and North Korea using descriptive research. method. The legal sources used are secondary data from library sources. The result of the research that caused the severance of diplomatic relations between Malaysia and North Korea was the discrepancy in the disclosure of the case of Kim Jong Nam's death.
