PENGARUH DISPOSISI MATEMATIS DAN BERPIKIR KRITIS TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to obtain information empirically about the influence of MathematicalDisposition and Critical Thinking on Problem Solving Ability Mathematics. This research usesquantitative approach, survey method and path analysis technique. The research was conducted atState Elementary School (SDN) in Joglo, West Jakarta, in the second semester of the academic year2016/2017. Sample as many as 245 Students SDN class V was chosen at cluster random. The researchinstrument uses questionnaires and tests that have passed the validity and reliability test. Researchdata have met the requirements analysis test, the data normality test, and regression linearity. Thepath coefficient test uses the t-test, where , showing the path coefficient is entirelysignificant at the trust level , thus the null hypothesis is rejected. The results show thatthere is a direct positive influence of Mathematical Disposition, and Critical Thinking onMathematical Problem Solving Ability. It is also known that there is a positive influence from theMathematical Disposition of Critical Thinking. The implication of this research result is that effort toimprove problem solving ability of elementary school mathematics student, coupled with improvementof mathematical disposition and critical thinking exercise. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi secara empiris tentang pengaruhDisposisi Matematis dan Berpikir Kritis terhadap Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematika.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, metode survei dan teknik analisis jalur (pathanalysis). Penelitian dilaksanakan di Sekolah Dasar Negeri (SDN) di Kelurahan Joglo, Jakarta Barat,pada semester II tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Sampel sebanyak 245 peserta didik SDN kelas V dipilihsecara klaster acak. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner dan tes yang telah melalui ujivaliditas dan reliabilitas. Data penelitian telah memenuhi uji persyaratan analisis, yaitu uji normalitasdata, dan linieritas regresi. Pengujian koefisien jalur menggunakan , dimana ,yang menunjukkan koefisien jalur seluruhnya signifikan pada tingkat kepercayaan , dengan demikian hipotesis nol ditolak.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh langsungpositif Disposisi Matematis, dan Berpikir Kritis terhadap Kemampuan Pemecahan MasalahMatematika. Dapat diketahui juga bahwa terdapat pengaruh langung positif Disposisi Matematisterhadap Berpikir Kritis. Implikasi dari hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa upaya untuk meningkatkankemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika peserta didik sekolah dasar, diiringi dengan perbaikandisposisi matematis dan latihan berpikir kritis.
