<![CDATA[Abstract. One of the problems in consuming conventional tablets is the difficulty in swallowing. Hence it is necessary to develop a dosage form such as hard candy, which is easier to consume and accepted by all age groups. This study aims to determine the formulation of an excellent hard candy base that can be used to treat fungal infections around the mouth. Some hard candy bases are made from various sucrose and glucose syrup concentrations. The ratio of sucrose and glucose syrup used was 60:40 (F1), 65:35 (F2), 70:30 (F3), and 75:25 (F4). The results of the basis evaluation refer to SNI to SNI 3547.1 of 2008, the best base is the F3 base. Abstrak. Salah satu permasalahan dalam mengkonsumsi tablet konvensional adalah kesulitan saat menelan. Sehingga perlu dikembangkan sediaan seperti permen keras yang lebih mudah untuk dikonsumsi dan lebih mudah diterima oleh semua kelompok umur. Penilitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui formulasi basis permen keras yang baik dan dapat dijadikan sediaan untuk mengatasi infeksi fungi di sekitar mulut. Beberapa basis permen keras dibuat dengan variasi konsentrasi antara sukrosa dan sirup glukosa. Perbandingan sukrosa dan sirup glukosa yang digunakan adalah 60:40 (F1), 65:35 (F2), 70:30 (F3), dan 75:25 (F4). Hasil evaluasi basis yang merujuk pada SNI 3547.1 Tahun 2008, basis yang dipilih sebagai basis yang paling baik adalah basis F3.]]>
