GAMBARAN MEKANISME KOPING DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SKRIPSI DI MASA PANDEMI COVID-19 PADA MAHASISWA FAKULTAS KEPERAWATAN UNIVERSITAS RIAU

Mekanisme koping adalah segala bentuk upaya yang dilakukan individu ketika mendapatkan masalah agar masalah terselesaikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran mekanisme koping dalam menyelesaikan skripsi di masa pandemi Covid-19 pada mahasiswa Fakultas Keperawatan Universitas Riau. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap 123 responden dengan pengambilan sampel yaitu teknik stratified non-random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner. Analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis univariat dengan hasil dalam bentuk ditribusi frekuensi dan persentase. Hasil dari penilitian mayoritas mahasiswa perempuan yaitu 108 (87,8%) dengan usia terbanyak 22 tahun yaitu 68 responden (55,3%). sedangkan untuk mekanisme koping problem focused coping yaitu 79 responden (64,2%) dan emotional focused coping yaitu 44 (35,8%). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah Gambaran mekanisme koping dalam menyelesaikan skripsi di masa pandemi Covid-19 pada mahasiswa Fakultas Keperawatan Universitas Riau sebagian besar menggunakan problem focused coping.Kata Kunci: covid-19; mekanisme koping; skripsiAbstractCoping mechanisms are all forms of efforts that individuals make when they get a problem so that the problem is resolved. This study aims to describe the coping mechanisms in completing riset during the Covid-19 pandemic for students of the Faculty of Nursing, University of Riau. Methods This study used a descriptive design with a cross sectional. This research was conducted on 123 respondents with the sampling technique stratified non-random sampling. The instrument used is a questionnaire. The analysis used is univariate analysis with the results in the form of frequency distribution and percentage. Results The majority of female students were 108 (87.8%) with the most age being 22 years, namely 68 respondents (55.3%). while the coping mechanism for problem focused coping is 79 respondents (64,2%) and emotional focused coping is 44 (35,8%). Conclusion The description of the coping mechanism in completing riset during the Covid-19 pandemic for the students of the Faculty of Nursing, University of Riau mostly used problem focused coping.
