This research is based on the observations and experiences of researchers, that it was found that there was a problem, namely that children (name of the group) still had difficulty pronouncing and reading simple words. The cause of the problem is because the media used by the teacher is less varied and not in accordance with the level of child development. This study aims to improve speaking skills through the introduction of reading illustrated comics in children aged in the 2021/2022 school year. This study uses a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach with group students as research subjects (group name). The study was conducted in two cycles, using the instrument of student activity observation sheets. The results showed that: (1) Through the cycle of reading skills, effective steps could be found in improving language skills through the introduction of reading illustrated comics for early childhood in group B. (2) The percentage of complete learning from Pre-action, cycle I RKH I to Cycle II RKH II brought significant results, because in the second cycle the learning completeness reached 79.37%. (3) Through the introduction of reading illustrated comics, it is proven that it can improve the language skills of the group's early childhood children. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi hasil pengamatan dan pengalaman peneliti, bahwa ditemukan adanya masalah yaitu anak-anak (nama kelomopok) masih sulit mengucapkan dan membaca kata-kata sederhana. Penyebab masalah tersebut adalah karena media yang digunakan guru kurang bervariasi dan tidak sesuai dengan tingkat perkembangan anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara melalui pengenalan membaca komik bergambar pada anak usia tahun pelajaran 2021/2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan subyek penelitian siswa kelompok (nama kelomopok). Penelitian dilakukan dalam dua siklus, menggunakan instrumen lembar observasi aktivitas peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Melalui siklus tindakan kemampuan membaca dapat ditemukan langkah-langkah yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa melalui pengenalan membaca komik bergambar anak usia dini kelompok B. (2) Prosentase ketuntasan belajar dari Pra tindakan, siklus I RKH I sampai siklus II RKH II membawa hasil yang signifikan, karena pada tindakan siklus II ketuntasan belajar mencapai 79,37 %. (3) Melalui pengenalan membaca komik bergambar terbukti dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa anak usia dini kelompo.
