Abstract

ABSTRAK Pandemi Covid-19 yang merebak saat ini di Indonesia telah memberikan dampak signifikan bagi keberlangsungan bisnis pada usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM). Dengan pemberlakuan pembatasan kegiatan masyarakat skala besar oleh pemerintah, UMKM dituntut untuk mampu mentransformasikan proses bisnisnya secara digital dalam rangka mengoptimalkan pendapatan/keuntungannya. Plantshopedia sebagai salah satu UMKM lokal di Balikpapan yang bergerak pada jual-beli tanaman hias dan aksesorisnya masih memiliki kendala dalam hal manajemen produk dan akuntasi yakni proses ini masih manual sehingga berdampak pada potensi kehilangan calon pembeli. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan mengembangkan suatu sistem informasi manajemen (SIM) yang dapat mengoptimalkan proses manajemen produk dan akuntansi di Plantshopedia. Setelah deployment SIM tersebut telah dilakukan, sosialisasi dan pendampingan penggunaan SIM dilakukan agar SIM dapat dimanfaatkan oleh Plantshopedia untuk menunjang proses bisnis UMKM tersebut.  Kata kunci : Covid-19, Keberlangsungan Bisnis, Sistem Informasi Manajemen (SIM), Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM). ABSTRACTCurrently, Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia has had the significant impacts on the micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs)’ business continuity. Due to the government's restrictions policy on large-scale community activities, MSMEs are required to be able transforming their business processes digitally in order to optimize their revenues/profits. As a local MSME in Balikpapan with its businesses in buying and selling ornamental plants and their accessories, Plantshopedia had the problem of its accounting and product management due to the processes was done manually that impacted to lossing the potential buyers, so this community service activity aimed to develop a management information system (MIS) that able optimizing the processes at Plantshopedia. After the MIS deployment had been carried out, socialization and assistance on the use of the MIS was carried out, so the MIS might be used by Plantshopedia to support its business processes.Keywords: Business Continuity, Covid-19, Management Information System (MIS), Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME).
