Penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas XII MIPA 1 di SMA Negeri 1 Ubud

Tujuan penelitian tindakan ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division ) sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar matematika. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XII MIPA 1 semester 1 SMA Negeri 1 Ubud tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 yang berjumlah 32 orang terdiri dari 6 orang laki-laki dan 26 orang perempuan. Objek penelitian adalah prestasi belajar matematika siswa. Data prestasi belajar siswa diperoleh dengan mengadakan tes di setiap akhir siklus. Hasil penelitian menujukkan peningkatan yang signifikan, pada siklus I mencapai nilai rata-rata 59,38 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 68,75%. Sedangkan pada siklus II mencapai nilai rata-rata 61,56 dengan ketuntasan belajar klasikal 78,13%. Hal ini bisa terjadi mengingat model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dapat merangsang siswa secara menyeluruh baik kognitif, afektif dan psikomotor. Kesimpulan, melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas XII MIPA 1 semester 1 di SMA Negeri 1 Ubud tahun pelajaran 2019/2020. The purpose of this action research is to determine the application of the STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) cooperative learning model as an effort to improve mathematics learning achievement. The research subjects were students of class XII MIPA 1 semester 1 of SMA Negeri 1 Ubud in the 2019/2020 school year, totaling 32 people consisting of 6 boys and 26 girls. The object of this research is students' learning achievement in mathematics. Student achievement data is obtained by conducting tests at the end of each cycle. The results showed a significant increase, in the first cycle reached an average value of 59.38 with a classical completeness of 68.75%. Meanwhile, in the second cycle, the average score was 61.56 with classical learning completeness 78.13%. This can happen considering that the STAD type of cooperative learning model can stimulate students as a whole, both cognitive, affective and psychomotor. In conclusion, through the application of the STAD type cooperative learning model, it can improve the mathematics learning achievement of class XII MIPA 1 semester 1 students at SMA Negeri 1 Ubud for the 2019/2020 school year.
