PENGARUH PENDEKATAN OPEN ENDED BERBANTUAN VIDEO ANIMASI TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KREATIF MATEMATIS SISWA DI KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 2 KUALUH SELATAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan open ended berbantuan video animasi terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Kualuh Selatan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen. Sampel dalam penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Kualuh Selatan yaitu 34 siswa kelas VIII-1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 34 siswa kelas VIII-2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik penggumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes yaitu tes awal (pre-test) dan tes akhir (post-test) dan  dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji prasyarat (Uji Normalitas dan Uji Homogenitas) dan Uji Hipotesis. Dan hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t diperoleh harga thitung (2,098) setelah dibandingkan dengan ttabel (1,998), ternyata harga thitung (2,098) > ttabel (1,998) sehingga Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Hal ini berarti pendekatan open ended berbantuan video animasi efektif terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Kualuh Selatan. Kata kunci: Pendekatan Open Ended, Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif, Video Animasi ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the effect of an open-ended approach assisted by animated videos on the mathematical creative thinking skills of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Kualuh Selatan. This research is a quasi-experimental research. The sample in this study were students of class VIII of SMP Negeri 2 Kualuh Selatan, namely 34 students of class VIII-1 as the experimental class and 34 students of class VIII-2 as the control class. Data collection techniques using observation, tests, namely the initial test (pre-test) and the final test (post-test) and documentation. The data analysis technique used prerequisite tests (Normality Test and Homogeneity Test) and Hypothesis Testing. And the results of the research using hypothesis testing using t-test obtained the value of tcount (2,098) after being compared with ttable (1,998), it turns out that the price of tcount (2,098) > ttable (1,998) so Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. This means that the open-ended approach assisted by animated videos is effective on the mathematical creative thinking skills of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Kualuh Selatan.
