Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir reflektif siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran problem based learning dengan pendekatan saintifik ditinjau dari gaya kognitif. Desain penelitian menggunakan Pre-test Post-test Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 17 siswa Kelas V SD Negeri 2 Tamanrejo sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan 17 siswa Kelas V SD Negeri 1 Tamanrejo sebagai kelompok kontrol. Teknik analisis data menggunakan indepentdent sampel t-test dan paired sampel t-test. Hasil analisis data independent sampel t-tes, diperoleh skor pre-test (thitung 0,034; p 0,05 dan post-test (thitung 3,433; p 0,05). Hasil analisis independent sampel t-tes diperoleh skor (thitung 3,074 ; p 0,05). Hasil analisis paired sampel t-test diperoleh skor kelas eksperimen (thitung 11,559; p 0,05) dan untuk kelas kontrol (thitung 4,040 p 0,01). Berdasarkan hasil analysis data menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran problem based learning lebih efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir reflektif siswa dibandingkan yang menggunakan model ekspositori.This study describes students' reflective thinking skills using a problem based learning model with a scientific approach in terms of cognitive style. The research design used Pre-test Post-test Control Group Design. The research sample consisted of 17 Class V students at SD Negeri 2 Tamanrejo as the experimental group and 17 Class V students at SD Negeri 1 Tamanrejo as the control group. The data analysis technique used independent sample t-test and paired sample t-test. The results of the independent sample t-test data analysis, obtained a pre-test score (tcount 0.034; p 0.05 and post-test (tcount 3,433; p 0.05). The results of the independent sample t-test analysis obtained a score (tcount 3.074 ; p 0.05. The results of the paired sample t-test analysis obtained a score for the experimental class (tcount 11.559; p 0.05) and for the control class (tcount 4.040 p 0.01). Based on the results of data analysis showed that the use of Problem based learning learning model is more effective to improve students' reflective thinking ability than using expository model.
