<![CDATA[This study aims to find out: (1) teachers' efforts in increasing the learning motivation of students at UPT SPF SDN Kumaladan (2) obstacles faced by teachers in increasing the learning motivation of students at UPT SPF SDN Kumala?This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The subjects in this study were the principal and teacher of UPT SPF SDN Kumaladan. Data collection techniques use interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing/verification.The results showed that; 1) the teacher's efforts to increase the learning motivation of students by giving praise, arousing curiosity, giving gifts, using simulation methods and games in learning activities and giving tasks as a form of reinforcement;2) there are obstacles for teachers in increasing the learning motivation of students, namely, obstacles from students who lack interest in learning, obstacles from the family environment in this case the lack of attention of parents of students and obstacles from the school environment which is still inadequate in supporting learning implementation activities.
