<![CDATA[Covid-19 causes a disease that attacks the respiratory system in humans. This virus has infected millions of people causing a high death toll for its sufferers worldwide. People, especially children, are very vulnerable to the spread of Covid-19. This activity aims to provide education and assistance to children to optimize knowledge and skills in preventing and implementing health protocols to avoid transmission of Covid-19 during learning. The method used in this community service is mentoring, lectures, discussions, demonstrations by the facilitator which is then followed by evaluation through re-simulation by the participants. The evaluation results show that teachers and students of SMP Negeri 2 Wonosari know about the Novel Coronavirus (NCOV), spread/droplets and risk factors for being infected with Covid-19, signs and symptoms of being infected with the virus, preventing Covid-19 and complying with health protocols in order to minimize the risk of transmission.]]>
