<![CDATA[Background in the research is due to the lack of individual responsibility in the process of learning and understanding of the concept of mathematical ability of students is still low. The purpose of research to determine whether a mathematical concept understanding students with applying the technique of One To One better than on a mathematical concept understanding students with conventional learning.This type of research is a research experiment, the population in this research is grade VII, 228 11 Padang. The technique of sampling was done randomly (Random Sampling). The instruments used in the research was the ultimate test with the understanding of the concept of indicators. The test form is used with the reliability test essai shaped r11 0,979. Hypothesis testing-test t used one hand.Based on the hypothesis test results obtained are thitung and ttabel is 6.72 1,58 so reject H0 and H1, then received a research hypothesis is accepted.
