Abstract

This research was background by the students understanding of math conceptswas still low in grade IX MTsN Lubuk Buaya Padang. The purpose this researchis knowing students understanding of math concept that apply cooperativelearning model with Domino Game strategy better than using conventionallearning at grade IX MTsN Lubuk Buaya Padang. Types of this research israndom toward the subject. The research instrument was test understanding ofmath concept. The form of test was used description form with reability test0.848. Technique of analysis data that was used t-test of one party. Based on theresult of hypothesis test was gotten value ttabel = 1.6692 and thitung = 4.2639.Because thitung > ttabel, the research hypothesis was accepted at significance level α= 0.05. It can be concluded that the students understanding of math concept thatapply cooperative learning with Domino Game strategy better than studentsunderstanding of math concepts with conventional learning at grade IX MTsNLubuk Buaya Padang with 95% confidence level.
