Thesis studies the behavior of children in Parenting Pattern Grandpa / Grandma in Rawalpindi Nagari Koto Village East Lakitan Sub Lengayang Regency South Coast. Nuclear family is very instrumental in the formation of a childs behavior because the instruction given birth parents since they will be useful for the development of their child to an adult. But the fact remained that occurred in the village of Koto Rawang nuclear family with a role because of the condition of the nuclear family have died namely their parents. As the role of the nuclear family in the move to the extended family that is the grandfather or grandmother. Therefore, this study aimed to describe the form of parenting grandfather / grandmother without parents and describe the behavior of children in nursery stock grandfather / grandmother in the family without the tua.Teori used in this research, namely the theory of Social Action by Max Webers theory of action that is social.The approach used in this study that is qualitative approach with descriptive type. Research informants taken purposive sampling. With this type of primary data and secondary data. Techniques and data collection tools used were interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis starts from a data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.Whereas the pattern of behavior of the child in foster grandpa / grandma families without parents are (1) love object, (2) lazy, (3) mendacious. This reflected some children who grew up with grandpa / grandma without parents who are in the village of Nagari Koto Rawalpindi District East Lakitan Lengayang Regency South Coast, this is due to the old child died.
