Gizi kurang merupakan permasalahan gizi terbanyak di Indonesia. Anak balita adalah salah satu kelompok masyarakat yang sering mengalami gizi kurang atau termasuk dalam kelompok yang rawan gizi. Dampak gizi kurang pada anak cukup beragam antara lain pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak menjadi terhambat, mengalami gangguan kesehatan pada saat remaja dan dewasa, berisiko terkena penyakit infeksi, bahkan bisa meningkatkan risiko kematian. Tujuan penelitian adalah Diketahui Pengaruh Pemberian Biskuit Tepung Kedelai dan Tepung Ubi Jalar Kuning sebagai PMT terhadap perubahan berat badan balita gizi kurang di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Sekip Palembang. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu quasi eksperiment dengan desain penelitian pre-test and post-test with control group design. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah analisis univariat dan analisis bivariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagian besar sampel berusia 34-40 bulan (26,7%). Rerata berat badan balita sebelum dilakukan intervensi pada kelompok perlakuan adalah 10,530 kg dan setelah dilakukan intervensi menjadi 10,840 kg dengan selisih 0,310 kg. Sedangkan rerata berat badan balita sebelum dilakukan intervensi pada kelompok pembanding adalah 10,580 kg dan setelah dilakukan intervensi menjadi 10,683 kg dengan selisih 0,103 kg. Hasil analisis statistik (t-independent) diperoleh p-value 0,000, sehingga mendapat kesimpulan ada pengaruh pemberian Biskuit Tepung Kedelai dan Tepung Ubi Jalar Kuning terhadap perubahan berat badan balita gizi kurang di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Sekip Palembang.Malnutrition is the most common nutritional problem in Indonesia. Toddlers are the age group that most often suffers from malnutrition or is one of the groups of people who has a nutritional vulnerability. The impact of malnutrition on toddlers is inhibiting the growth of children, causing health problems during adolescence and adulthood, increasing the risk of infectious diseases, and even it can increase the risk of death. The purpose of this research was to know the effect of giving biscuits with soy flour and yellow sweet potato flour on changing the weight of undernourished toddlers in the working area of Sekip Community Health Center Palembang. This type of research was a quasi-experiment with research design pre-test and post-test with control group design. The statistical test used was univariate analysis and bivariate analysis. The results described that most of the samples were aged 34-40 months (26.7%). The average body weight in the treatment group before the intervention was 10.530 kg and after the intervention it became 10.840 kg with a difference of 0.310 kg. While the average body weight in the comparison group before the intervention was 10.580 kg and after the intervention it became 10.683 kg with a difference of 0.103 kg. The results of statistical tests ( t-independent) obtained that p-value of 0.000, so it could be concluded that there was an effect of giving Soy Flour and Yellow Sweet Potato Flour Biscuits to changes in body weight of undernourished toddlers in the working area of Sekip Community Health Center Palembang.
