The implementation of this research is motivated by the low learning interest of students in Islamic religious education subjects, this makes learning activities become saturated and seem tiring. The use of less varied methods and strategies makes students feel bored in learning. The use of the card sort method is expected to be able to foster requests and activate students in learning. The results showed the implementation of the first cycle showed an average value of 71. Student learning outcomes in the first cycle there were 21 percent of students get a low category. Whereas 21 percent of students scored moderately, 52 percent received high marks, and there were 11 percent of students rated very high. In the second cycle increased with the results achieved as many as 7 students (37 percent) get a high category while 12 students (63 percent) get a score with a very high category with an average value of 88, and indicators of success achieved are 95 percent.
