<![CDATA[This study aims to describe and explain: (1) the use of language style in Tere Liye's Rindu novel; (2) the unique selection and use of foreign language vocabulary in the novel Rindu by Tere Liye; (3) the use of imagery in the novel Rindu by Tere Liye. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The data source for this research is the novel Rindu by Tere Liye. Data collection techniques using documentation and interview techniques. The validity of this research data uses theoretical triangulation and method triangulation. The sample technique used is purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique used in this study is an interactive technique. Based on the results of research and discussion, the following conclusions are obtained. (1) The use of the dominant style of language is asindenton. (2) The uniqueness of the selection and use of foreign language vocabulary in the novel Rindu by Tere Liye is in the form of Dutch vocabulary, either in the form of words, phrases or clauses. The dominant Dutch vocabulary is in the form of phrases. (3) The most dominant use of imagery is visual imagery.]]>
