Abstract

Latar Belakang: Kontrasepsi merupakan usaha untuk mencegah kehamilan. Berdasarkan profil kesehatan Indonesia tahun 2020, sebagian besar pengguna memilih kontrasepsi hormonal dibandingkan non hormonal.Tujuan: Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis  pengaruh kontrasepsi hormonal terhadap berat badan, tekanan darah dan siklus menstruasi.Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan kajian pustaka sistematis yang meninjau artikel jurnal dan hasil-hasil penelitian dalam kurun 10 tahun yang terkait dengan kontrasepsi hormonal yaitu kontrasepsi suntik, pil dan implan. Tinjauan difokuskan pada topik tentang pengaruh kontrasepsi hormonal terhadap berat badan, tekanan darah dan siklus menstruasi. Sumber rujukan dieksplorasi melalui database online seperti Scopus, SINTA, Google Cendikia, dan The Education Resources Information Center (ERIC) Elsevier.Hasil: Hasil telaah artikel menunjukkan ada pengaruh penggunaan dan lama penggunaan kontrasepsi hormonal yaitu kontrasepsi suntik, pil, dan implan terhadap peningkatan berat badan, tekanan darah, dan gangguan menstruasi. Effect of Hormonal Contraceptives on Weight, Blood PressureAnd Menstrual Cycle Background: Contraception is an attempt to prevent pregnancy. Based on Indonesia's health profile in 2020, most users choose hormonal contraception than non-hormonal contraceptives.Objective: This study was conducted to analyze the effect of hormonal contraception on body weight, blood pressure and menstrual cycle.Methods: This study is a systematic literature review that reviews journal articles and research results over the past 10 years related to hormonal contraception, those are injectable contraceptives, pills and implants. The review focused on the topic of the effect of hormonal contraception on body weight, blood pressure and menstrual cycle. Reference sources were explored through online databases such as Scopus, SINTA, Google Cendikia, and The Education Resources Information Center (ERIC) Elsevier.Results: The results of the article review show that there are some effects of the use and duration of hormonal contraceptive use, those are injectable contraceptives, pills, and implants on weight gain, blood pressure, and menstrual disorders.
