Social Media has the purpose of providing information and education to the public about an event or event with the aim of giving an appeal to everyone who uses social media. Klitih is a term often used by the people of Yogyakarta when there is a crime on the highway. The community has its own views on klitih which is a form of anarchism carried out by teenagers. This study aims to determine how important the role of social media in overcoming the phenomenon of klitih in Sleman regency Yogyakarta. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach that is descriptive by interviewing the people of Sleman regency Yogyakarta who have experienced criminal acts klitih. In addition, from the existence of social media such as Twitter whether people feel helped by the information provided by the social media.]]>
