<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa tadris biologi IAIN Jember terhadap pengetahuan bioetika. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah kualitatif dengan metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian yaitu mahasiswa semester I sampai VII Program Studi Tadris Biologi IAIN Jember Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa seluruh responden (73 orang) mengetahui istilah bioetika. 17,8% responden mengetahui makna bioetika, 68,5 % responden hanya sekedar tahu atau pernah mendengar saja tentang bioetika, dan sisanya terdapat 13,7% responden tidak mengetahui sama sekali mengenai bioetika. Hubungan bioetika dengan mahasiswa calon guru biologi 75,3% responden mengetahui hubungan bioetika dengan mahasiswa calon guru biologi berikut dengan alasan yang benar, 16,4% responden mengetahui hubungan bioetika dengan mahasiswa calon guru biologi tetapi dengan alasan yang salah dan sisanya 8,2% responden tidak mengetahui hubungan antara bioetika dengan mahasiswa calon guru biologi. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa mahasiswa tadris biologi IAIN Jember sebagai calon guru biologi telah mengetahui mengenai bioetika, akan tetapi sebatas istilah kosa kata dan dengan pemahaman yang terbatas, sehingga sangat perlu meningkatkan pengetahuan bioetikanya. Kata kunci: persepsi, mahasiswa calon guru biologi, bioetika This study aims to determine the perceptions of biology students of IAIN Jember on bioeth-ics knowledge. This type of research is qualitative with the method used is a qualitative de-scriptive method with research subjects, namely students from semester I to VII of the Bi-ology Study Program IAIN Jember. The results showed that all respondents (73 people) knew the term bioethics. 17.8% of respondents knew the meaning of bioethics, 68.5% of respondents only knew or had heard about bioethics, and the remaining 13.7% of respond-ents did not know anything about bioethics. Bioethics relationship with prospective biology teacher students 75.3% of respondents knew bioethics relationship with prospective biology teacher students with the right reasons, 16.4% respondents knew about bioethics relation-ship with prospective biology teacher students but for the wrong reasons and the remaining 8.2% of respondents did not know the relationship between bioethics and prospective biol-ogy teacher students.
