Background: Sigi Regency has the third highest prevalence rate of stunting toddlers' nutritional status, namely the stunting rate of children aged 0-23 months, with as many as 1,199 children (20.2%) and children aged 0-59 months having short and very short status (Dinas Kesehatan Sulteng, 2020). In 2020, the Sigi regency government, through Sigi Regent Decree Number: 444–185 of 2020, established 10 focus locations (LOKUS) to accelerate stunting reduction in 2021. One of the ten loci is in the Dolo Health Center working area. Methods: The target of counseling is health cadres (5 people), mothers of toddlers (25 people), and families (10 people) with the Emotional Demonstration Method (Emo Demo) in Waturalele Village, the working area of the Dolo Health Center. This was carried out for one day in three groups with partners of the Dolo Health Center, Sigi Regency. Methods used were Q&A lectures, demonstrations, and mentoring practices. Results: Counseling on stunting and indiscriminate snacking has a positive impact. Mothers of toddlers, families, and healthcare providers can choose healthy snacks using the emotional demonstration method. The Emo Demo method incorporates the psychological elements that the subject has so that the subject will be encouraged to make behavioral changes. Conclusion: Emo-Demo is a very effective counseling technique. Health cadres are expected to deepen their knowledge about choosing healthy snacks through mass media or the internet so that they can share knowledge when mentoring toddler mothers and families.
